Parents want to transfer money into my UK bank account from abroad, will I have to pay tax for it?

I am currently working in the UK and therefore a taxpayer.
Parents want to transfer money into my UK bank account from abroad, will I have to pay tax for it?
Well no tax liability arises on the gift from your parents.


However, if it's over 拢3000,(拢6000 jointly, plus the same for previous year) it may affect their IHT position if they die within 7 years.
