Can a bank employee take money out of an account?

I have had some money missing from my account.

I was wondering if it was possible for a bank employee to steal money from a persons account and then just not on the computer that it was a cash withdrawal?

Thank you.

Yes they can do that. But there are usually cameras above the cashiers.

If a cashier was to have taken your money. The time the withdrawal was made would be logged in the system and easy enough to correspond with the surveillance camera to see if a unlawful withdrawal was made.

I doubt your scenario is actually what happened though. Get a statement

if the transactions look odd. Report the money missing to your bank as fraud %26amp; it should be credited back to your account within a few days.
Reply:If they steal your money, someone will go to jail. More than likely you are getting charged for services. Some banks are absolutely terrible with hidden services. Go to the bank, they will explain it to you. You can challenge them on the services, sometimes they will credit your account. Credit Unions service charges are far less than a bank. Good luck.
Reply:Money will not be missing from you account with out a line item on your bank statement. If there is one you don't understand and have no record of doing yourself, ask the bank to explain. Also check your statement to make sure all deposits are correct. People can make mistakes and your deposit might of ended up in someone else's account. If someone is taking money out of accounts unauthorized, that is embezzlement and they go to jail for a LONG time!
