If your account is reported negatively on Credit report, then sold to another debt collector, and they report?

it negatively also, is there some kind of law as to how many companies can keep selling the debt and reporting it negatively in this way?

NOPE JUST PAY YOUR DEBT
Reply:i dont think so...they will just pass it a long til someone gets the money from you...its a liability for them as well if they dont collect...you could just pay it and not worry about it anymore?
Reply:I killed my credit a long time ago and never heard of this, or ever saw it, on my credit report. It is the same debt. The first holder can report, and always will. After that they wrote it off. At that point it can be sold to any Joe Shmoe, for cents on the dollar, just to try to collect ANYTHING. I don't see how they can report it, but, if they do, just file a dispute with the credit bureau.
Reply:To my knowledge their are no laws to prevent it....
