If your account is suspended is it gone for good?

I'm asking in R%26amp;S because I'm guessing this is where the most experienced people on the subject would be.
If your account is suspended is it gone for good?
It comes back after 6-12 months(not fully sure which one) but your points are all gone. You can try and appeal but chances are it will be rejected.
Reply:Well...I got suspended. But after playing "Law and Order" for a while and after numerous appeals and emails, my account was reinstated. But to my utter dismay, my account was bumped back two levels and all my best answers were taken away. I think I was depressed for a week. I had made it to level six and I only needed a hundred or so points to get to level 7.

But I guess if you appeal enough and if you send an email to the yahoo!answers team, they can reinstate your account based on how severe your violation was.

And if you're wondering, I got suspended because apparently, I had another account. Funny thing, though. I don't recall ever making a second account.
Reply:haha, that made me laugh. We certainly are experienced. I think I'm on my 9th life. Fundies have it in for me.

But to answer your question, yes it is gone forever.
Reply:Yes. No amount of appeals, whether they be logical or not, will gain you access of your former account.
Reply:Wave bye bye
Reply:Yes. I've appealed a bunch of times, but the computer doesn't like being told that Jesus died of syphilis. I guess it doesn't like the truth.
Reply:LOL Yep, you are correct.

I hear you can appeal but I hear more often that not you lose your entire account!
