How do you start a new e-mail account when you already have an existing one?

My husband has an e-mail account through Yahoo and wants to start a seperate one for his writing information that he signs up for. But when I go to the Yahoo homepage and click on the sign up button for e-mail, my Yahoo DSL login comes up and makes me sign in. I would like to know if there is some way to avoid this.

Reply:With your browser open, click tools%26gt;%26gt;internet options%26gt;%26gt;content tab%26gt;%26gt;autocomplete and uncheck the box that says "user names and passwords in forms" Then click OK, and then Apply. That should turn of the AutoComplete--the program that automatically fills in your user ID. Then you should be able to create a new account. If that doesn't work, try going through another browser, like Mozilla Firefox.
Reply:Go to the Yahoo hompage:

sign out of Yahoo, then you will be taken back to the Yahoo homepage, but you will not be signed-in. Look for "Free E mail, Sign-up" and create a new account.
Reply:delete the old one and get a new one
Reply:You sign out and click sign up by the sign in button then follow the procedures.
Reply:Yes, Be sure to "log off" and then go to site again and continue as "new user," and then reregister with new id.

Hope that helps.
Reply:Clear the cookies and temporary internet files. Re-start the browser and sign up for a new id.

I have found more information at http://tinyurl.com/nnv9f on how email works and how to troubleshoot email related problems.
Reply:Simply sign out and register the new account under different user name. That should set up the new email account.
