Do you have to have an EA Sports account to play WiFi connection on the Wii?

I want to play and I know that on some EA Sports Games you need an account to play online...Also, is making an account on EA Sports website the same as making an account on the game itself?I want to buy the game but I just have some questions about it before I buy it.

No, you don't need an account to play the game, the User Data when you play the game is your account! As long as you have an internet connection, your ready to go!

if u mean like a screen and account name then yes like in examplee if u hav medal of honor heroes 2 u go to multiplayer and then it tell s u to make an account and screen name to play every thing of course is free
Reply:nope. every game on the wii that has wi fi is a free connection. u do not have to pay anything, and it creates a different account, not the one that u use online
