How do I sign in on my yahoo messenger account on 2 different computers at different times?

I have a desk top PC at home and a lap top on the road. I can't sign onto yahoo messenger on my lap top under the account that is on my PC at home. How can I accomplish this?

You should be able to sign into Messenger from any computer where it's installed, as long as you're not signed into already on another computer.

make sure you have the newest Yahoo! messenger on your laptop


If it still doesn't work, post the error when you try to sign in.
Reply:Simple get another yahoo account. But if you are sign in at home and want to sign in on the road it will sign you out at home and sign you in where you sign in last...
Reply:Sure you can. I do it all the time. You just can't be logged into both at the same time.





Actually, if I am logged onto one and then go to log onto the other, it logs me out of the first.
Reply:all i know is that you can't log on to yahoo messenger while you are currently log in in the other computer
Reply:i believe when you sign into y! messenger, if the connection is on, it will get disconnected yoru sign on at home and your Y! will work on your laptop.
