My XP account is password protected but it loads the settings without asking me to type the password?

Why? I just set an account with a passord and it keeps loading without asking for the password. Why? I am the administrator %26amp; I have only my administrator account. Thanks

When you click Sign On, look underneath, does it have a checked box that is followed by "keep me signed in"?
